During the month of January construction activity picked up with the removal of the surcharge and preparations being made for the footings.

The weather was typical for Nebraska for the month of January including an ice storm.

The architects and engineers completed the construction plans for the shell of the building. The next phase will be the completion of the interior design of the building. Their work is in conjunction with meetings with students, faculty, staff and the community to gather input on the plans.
