Mammel Hall construction continues as the season turns to winter. The surcharge has been completed and will be in place for much of the winter. The surcharge will produce sufficient compaction for the construction of the 120,000-square-foot building.

To the north west of the building site, the preparation for the new parking lot has started. That is where most of the construction activities will be taking place over the next few months.

Behind the scenes the architects and engineers are working on finalizing the construction plans. Their work is in conjunction with meetings with students, faculty, staff and the community to gather input on the plans.
